Make Eliminating Stress Your Top Priority!

Stress, sometimes described as the silent killer can lead to many health problems like obesity, depression, heart disease, high blood pressure, and sleep disorders. But the good news is it’s easier than you think to control, and it doesn’t cost more than a little time.

What’s the secret? It’s Movement. Movement is the Key and Direction.”

Check out my “Steps to Be Stress Free” Plan

• Exercise
Take care of your body it’s one of the first things most people neglect when they’re stressed out. Exercising even just for 15 minutes is an Instant stress releaser; it can help boost your immune system with blood flow to your brain and is another way to trigger the release of endorphins. Plus you will feel better/lighter and more rejuvenated afterwards.

• Focus on Your Breathing
Close your eyes, inhale slowly, hold your breathe for a count of eight and exhale slowly for an eight count. This will calm you and smooth out your breathing pattern. Repeat 4-8 times.

• Music! Music! Music!
Listening to music is therapeutic and soothing; it’s even been known to have a healing effect for the sick. Put in your favorites tunes and watch it immediately take you back to happy times.

• Doodle
Doodling helps you channel stress; it usually takes your mind away for the problem. It also serves as a double bonus by being a, “No Sweat Calorie Burner.”

• Take A Walk/Time Out For Yourself
Walking is certainly known to be therapeutic; it frees the mind as well as revitalizes the body and uplifts the spirit. A 30 min walk, or even a 15 min walk can help reduce stress and relieve depression by focusing on more positive and productive thoughts.
