He made me feel alive, important – he made me feel like I mattered.

An Excerpt from New Book “Get Up & Groove: Step Into Greatness! Perform!”

As I remember I had such a burning desire to learn Ballet that I couldn’t conceive of letting anything, or anyone, stop me, so I looked elsewhere. Soon enough I found myself at the door steps of the Tennessee Ballet Academy led by none other than the brilliant dance master himself, a white, Jewish man named “George Latimer.” When I showed up, he made me feel like nothing less than a human being by his kind greeting and sweet words of welcome. Actually, he treated me much like his very own son. I thank him to this day for having arms that were wide open, and a heart as big as the Grand Canyon. I’m so thankful too that when I auditioned for him how he saw my potential, and not the overweight young teenager with low self-esteem. He made me feel alive, important – he made me feel like I mattered. This was encouraging to me, and it boosted my self-esteem. The fact is it was a magical experience that touched my life forever. Yet I couldn’t believe…….. Yes, there is more right here:”>Choreographer Instructor Fitness</a>
