Miss Teach Has The Magic Touch!”

A Sneak Peak Excerpt From Get Up & Groove Book 1.

 Step Into Greatness Perform!

Miss Teach, (well, this is what I’ll be calling her in slang words of course) was always on her game. Especially when it came to getting the job done; her passion and commitment showed she was a lady about her business.

Yes, Miss teaches ability to be herself had a dramatic effect on many. It so reminds me of a great neo-soul singer named India- Aria, who sings a dynamic, uplifting, and self –awareness inspiring song called, “Just Do You!” from her album entitled “Songversation.” It’s a very bouncy and danceable song about the importance of always being who you are. Now, what’s great about it is I could see this song being played as Miss. Teach life’s sound track every time she walked into a room. Because, boy, when she walked into a room everybody took notice.

Joey L. Dowdy’s “SAVE THE LABELS

Pick. Poke. Prod.

No one can place labels on you that will stick, unless you provided them with the glue. Which is the acceptance or belief of what they’re say is truth.

Know that labels are lies and no one has the right; or the power, to confine you to one. Such as you’re too old, ugly, short, tall, fat, skinny, black, white, too dumb, or too much.

So be the smart person you are and never let someone pick, poke, or prod, at you instead suggest they “Save The Labels For The Can!”

Which do you choose?

Will you spend your time concentrating on what didn’t, or hasn’t happen yet in your life?  Or will you look on the bright side and instead focus on what has.

Meaning, Why Not Think About The Hits and Forget The Misses!
