What Is The Truth About Losing Weight?

 The groove to improve anything first starts with being able to take control of your thinking. For example: Most people think that in order for them to lose weight all they really need to do is to eat healthier and exercise more. So they keep trying this method year after year with little to no lasting progress. Yet here’s what they are missing, “The Truth.” What is the truth about losing weight? It is a process that won’t happen overnight. It takes work and time, sure eating health and getting the proper amount of exercise plays a big part of it. But it comes later. What should happen first is this, “Stop The Negative Thinking!”

Here’s what I mean. Until you stop thinking about your image, looks, and body, in a negative fashion (such as being too big, fat, undesirable, or unattractive etc.) Then the changes you desire to happen won’t. Remember: Nothing Responses Well to Dislike or Hatred! Here’s why. Don’t forget your body is alive and well. And much of this is due with your brain sending signals, and or messages, to it about what you’re thinking and feeling. So if you’re constantly pointing out what you don’t like about it, it will hold on to those feeling subconsciously and then present them outwardly. Meaning, regardless to what you do, the weight will keep coming back. As your body will hold to it for protection. So you must,

Pen Point The Good.

That’s why it’s important to first pen point the good things you like about your body, and then make them known. What this will do is plant a seed in your subconscious mind that you appreciate your body for the good it is, and what it does for you. Yet the thing to keep in mind is this, “Nobody Is Perfect!” Then you will mostly likely be able to make any successful changes or improvements you desire.

 So if you are looking to lose weight this is your first step. Then your next few moves should be to get on a healthy eating plan combined along with daily moderate exercise (for at least 30 minutes 5-6 days a week,) adequate sleep( 7-8 hours nightly,) and learn to control your levels of stress.

 Results: If you put this plan into action and stay consistent, which is the key, you and your body will be inspired to stay the course.

CAN GO A LONG WAY!

                             Healthy! Whole! Happening!

Here are three simple fat burning, body tightening, slim and trim tips. They’ll help you to Whittle, Whittle; Get Down That Middle.

 1. Cut Down on Sugary / Fatty/ and Salty Foods such as sweets, (cookies, cakes, pies, candy etc.) fried, (chicken, burgers, fries,) soda, as well as (fruit juices, energy drinks, sweetened water etc.) Note: Try to go as natural as possible with whole foods like fruits, vegetables, lean meats, and whole grains etc.)

Results: Doing so will help to decrease your hunger!

2. Walk or Jog For 30 Minutes <six days> a week.  

 * Results: Doing so will help you to burn fat!

NOTE: I know you have a business schedule. However, keep this in mind. If you don’t put your health and well-being first, then you won’t a schedule at all.   So it”s important to“MAKE THE TIME!”

Note: Like with all exercise, it’s good to check with your doctor first. Then once he gives you the green light, here’s one thing to keep in mind.

<Take things slowly at first.>

Work Your Way Up to 30 minutes if you’re just starting out! Try this, start with ten minutes the first two weeks, and then add on an extra five minutes every other week.

3. Set Up  A Daily Abdominal Workout plan and do a few sit ups, or crunches.

Note: Once again remember to go slowly; know that it’s not necessarily how many you do. Yes it’s true, “ Just A Little Bit Can Go A Long Way!” However, please don’t stop at just two or three, try to make it pass 10 if you can.

<Don’t forget: the most important thing is to get the maximum benefit from your workout by using the correct form such as, keeping your chin lifted, getting your shoulders off the floor, and controlling the movement when lowering down.>

*  Results: Doing so will help you to Whittle, Whittle; Get Down That Middle.

Firm! Fit! Fabulous!

Can’t zip, or button up those jeans like you use to?

 Can’t fit into that little black dress anymore?

Belly fat is among the most dangerous to have on your body, as it is known to be associated with one of the causes related to diabetes and cancer. What you also may not know is this. A protruding belly becomes an incubator, or a storage place, for such diseases to live in and to spread throughout your body.

Short Full Body Workouts is the key to getting fit.  New Research studies show that short 30 to 40 minutes full body workouts (with little to no breaks in between) 3 – 5 days a week (like dancing, boxing, swimming, weight lifting etc.) are highly effective. MAKE IT A FEAT.

Here’s how you can keep the burgers and fries off your thighs. You can do this by turning a potentially unhealthy feat into a pleasant and healthy treat. Here’s how! What you need to know, and do, when you’re eating out is how to act on your options.

You can still enjoy a good meal minus all the extra calories, sodium, sugar and fat. Especially if you’re trying to lose weight, or just maintain your great shape.

So listed below are your options for a large burger, large fries and large soda.

*Down Size Your Portions.

But first, before I share them with you, I think the first thing you should do is down size all three items. Go for smaller versions. Why? It’s all about portion control. You really don’t need to have the large version of these items in order to fill up your tank. Plus, you can make better and more valuable choices using healthier options. Remember: when you eat out don’t be afraid to resort to doing this.

*Execute the Golden Rule.

When eating out don’t be afraid to ask for healthier options, or for your food to be prepared differently. Don’t forget you’re paying for it anyway, plus, you might encourage the restaurant to start a new thing.

Be A Trend Setter!”

Now here are my BFS options.

Burger (Try It Protein Style)

Here’s what so many people are unaware of and most places don’t advertise but there is a lower calorie, fat, sodium burger option. It’s called a protein burger. What is it? It is grilled burger meat (ask for it with no or slightly salted) without the bun wrapped in lettuce, tomato, onions, or whatever other veggies (spinach, sprouts, avocado etc) you’d like. Please feel free to pile them on. Note: Including more veggies will give you the fiber you need, and it’ll make you feel fuller.

Next, try adding mustard and possibly a dash of ketchup for favor instead mayo or the restaurants high fat sauce version. Doing all these things will help you to save big on Calories, Sodium, and Fat.

*Fries (Go Baked or Grilled)

Go for the baked version if possible, or a baked potato (don’t forget most places grill, or cook their burgers so why not ask them to do the same with your fries. Don’t forget they usually have microwaves too, and a baked potato only takes about five to eight minutes.

*Soda (Make a Different Choice)

Sorry, I hate to bring you the bad news, but soda simply isn’t good for you at all. Yes, that means diet soda too. Why is it? For one, it has no nutritional value, and two, I’m sure you’ve heard; it turns into fat. So if you’re trying to trim down your waistline, and who isn’t, you should by pass it.

*Get Your Fizz On!

A better option is water. No, it doesn’t have to be boring. What you should do is try it different ways like flavored, sparkling, or mineral. Just make sure neither contains any form of sugar. Sure, they won’t taste as sweet as soda. But they’ll still provide (especially sparkling or mineral water) that fizzy and or refreshing taste just the same. The difference is minus all the calories and the sugar. If by chance the restaurant doesn’t have either then just drink plain water, and garnish it with strips of lemon, lime, or orange slices.

Now, That You Know Your Options.

OH MY!”

Can’t lose those extra pounds? Well, this could be one reason why.

Did you know that research studies show that fifty percent of the American population consumes a meal that consists of a large burger, large fries and a large soda at least once a week?  So, what about you? Are you doing it too and probably thinking, okay, what’s wrong with once a week? Well, let’s do the math.

Check This Out!

  Here are the stats on how many calories, sodium, fat and sugar content you consume eating just one large burger, fries & soda.

 1,360 calories (Two thirds of a standard day’s allotment of 2,000 calories)

Sodium 1,380 milligrams (almost an entire day’s allotment which is, 2000 milligram)

Fat content 38 percent of calories (60-65 grams day’s allotment)

<Sugar content for all three>
 95 grams, or 19 teaspoons, or 390 calories which is more than double what the American heart association recommends for one day. WOW! These figures are just for once a week, double them for twice a week; triple them for three times a week.  

SO, I ask again, could this be one reason why you can’t lose those extra pounds?  It could be very likely.
