I realized I had the confidence to do it, and from there on I went full speed ahead. The ironic part was it didn’t take long before I was hooked. I loved the classes and the training. What I also realized was that the classes not only worked my body, but my mind as well. I learned that it’s true; “You can’t have an active mind with an inactive a body.” This is what made me destined to be, and do, my best in pursuing my dreams. On the other hand, it took sheer will power to resist the temptation after school to skip classes so I could go hang with my friends. You better believe it was difficult seeing them head out for soda or ice cream as I headed to the studio for a dance class, or a singing lesson, or to the rehearsal hall for acting class, or play practice. Anyway, what I did in order to keep a few friendships was, I compromised. I decided to do social things like that during my down time, or on a day off. Sure, I realized the importance of having a social life, but I also needed to stay focused on my goals as well. It was apparent that I was driven by determination and a much bigger vision. Honestly, I liked what I felt and the challenge it brought. I didn’t mind the sacrifice, along with the blood, sweat, and tears it would take for me to achieve my dreams.

 Breathing correctly can help you extend your life. It’s imperative that you make it a daily routine. Why? ‘It’s what will help you to perform at your best.

Now here’s what you do. Set aside a few minutes (2-5 or more) each day to practice your breathing exercises.

You should start the process by breathing in deeply, *slowly, and rhythmically, out through your nose and not the mouth.

The key is to make sure to Use Your Diaphragm and Not Your Chest muscles. Here’s why. Using the movement of the diaphragm during deep breathing exercises massages the stomach, small intestine, heart, liver and pancreas.

What else, if you take a few good deep breaths daily will it do for you? Like a said earlier, “A Few Good Breaths A Day, Will Keep the Doctor Away?”
