 What’s up Groovy People? It’s Joey L. Dowdy, World Dance Groove’s

 I relate eating nutritiously to like learning a hot dance routine.

 A great dance routine has all the right elements that make the experience satisfying and complete. How you might ask?

  It has a beginning (it’s enjoyable), a middle (it’s fulfilling), and an ending (it’s rewarding).  Now, wouldn’t it be fabulous if you could get the same enjoyment by applying the same techniques to your eating? Well, I have good news, You Can!  

 Just like a spicy dance routine your approach and technique for healthy eating can be transforming if you find the right elements that will make healthy eating Enjoyable, Fulfilling, and Rewarding.

 In fact, I can think of one right now that’ll help you jump start the process. However, it’s something you have to do every day.

  Now get this, “It is statistically proven that those who do it are usually thinner than those who don’t.”

This is one element you’ll definitely need, if you desire to be a “Lean Mean Fat Burning Machine.”

 What is it?

You must, “Eat Breakfast.” Why? Here, find out, take a look at my

3 Step “Eat Your Skinny” Breakfast Plan.

 Step 1

 Start Your Day Out- Right with Breakfast.

 * The secret is to make your choices desirable and healthy.

 Reward: If you start you day off right you’ll more be encouraged to end it right.

Step 2

Eating balanced is the key. Variety even with food choices can be your spice of life; make sure you eat foods rich in nutrients; it will see you through a busy morning.

  *Eating a good balanced breakfast gives you the energy to get you going after a long night without food.

Reward: You should wake up excited to feed you body, it deserves it.

Step 3

Make Healthy Choices,

Eat this-

Low-fat or fat-free milk products, whole grains, (oats, waffles, toast, cereal, bran muffins) varied fruits, lean protein (nuts, yogurt, flaxseed, lean meats, eggs whites, etc.)

Reward: These products can help contribute to a Smaller Leaner You!

 -Less of That

AVOID eating foods that are high in saturated, Tran’s fats, added sugars, and or high in cholesterol. Such as donuts, mammoth muffins, croissants, cream cheeses, coffee drinks like mochas, frappuccinos, caramel coffee, etc. These products have more calories which will eventually add to your waist line. 

 Reward:  If I stay on track by making the right moves and proper choices I see how you can literally, “Eat Yourself Skinny!

PAY OFF!

Breakfast food is fuel for your body’s engine; feeding it early on helps keep it energized and revved up,  it starts the daily calorie burning process.

Note: Don’t forget to include a daily fun work out because,” Cardio Does the Body Good.”

What’s up Groovy People? It’s Joey L. Dowdy, World Dance Groove’s Choreographer/ Host/Instructor and Fitness Motivator.

I’m sure you’ve all heard the phrase,

“I’m so Hungry, I could Eat A Horse.”

What about this popular saying,
I’m Starved; I Haven’t Eaten All Day?

Or, “Yeah I might miss a meal here and there, but that’s okay when I eat I Try to Eat Healthy.”

These are all common phrases that we know all too well.  So, the real question is, can you really make healthy food choices on a growling stomach? Let’s examine this theory.

 Healthy is a 7 letter word that’s often misused, especially when it comes to talking about eating properly. Healthy eating means you should choose foods that give your body the proper nutrients it needs. Those foods should then provide your body with more energy, strength, and lasting durability.

The word healthy as it applies to eating; its true meaning, often gets compromised when deprivation (Starvation) strikes a person.  It creates extreme hunger that makes the urge for food, and getting it quickly the main focus. It then weakens their ability to think clearly when trying to make healthier food choices, and out of desperation they end up reaching for just about anything.

 This is what usually happens when you skip meals, or end up as one might say it, “Starved.”

  * And if your goal is to get a slim body, you’ll never obtain it until you can remember this one thing.

 * Know that the greatest gift you can give, or buy yourself, is a good nutritious meal! Think about it!

It’s one of life’s most enjoyable pleasures!  So Why Deny Yourself?

Eat! Eat Yourself Skinny!

  How? Here’s what you need to know.
Step 1.
   “Skipping Meals Does Nothing Good For Your Body.”

 In fact it, “Slows Down Your Metabolism.” (Your Body’s Engine) Therefore as a result, you will be moving a step further away ( by gaining weight) from your ideal body size and or desired fitness goal.

However, Eating Regularly (Small Healthy Meals Every 4-5 Hrs) will speed up your metabolism ( you’ll lose weight) and you’ll find yourself getting several steps closer to a slimmer trimmer you.

 Note: Plus adding in a little Cardio Each Day will Help You Melt Those Pounds Away.”

 Now, Go Ahead! Eat! Eat Yourself Skinny!
